Casual Conversations is a video series structured around brief encounters with insects as protagonists.
The project began incidentally, when an insect joined a journey to the airport — initiating the first recorded exchange. What followed became a sequence of unplanned meetings, each operating as a small conversation between species.
Rather than observation conversation connects through dialogue, not monologue.
Each video records a discrete encounter, offering alternate perspectives and points of view between unlikely companions.
The works may be viewed individually or simultaneously, allowing multiple conversations to unfold.
